What it gives your madrassa

Fees that follow your structure

Create annual, termly, monthly or one-off plans for the whole madrassa, a year, a class or an individual student. Preview an invoice run before anything is issued.

Households, discounts and waivers

Group siblings, apply a discount ladder or household cap, and record fixed reductions, percentage reductions or full waivers without exposing sensitive reasons to teachers.

Online and offline payments together

Parents can pay online where supported, while management records cash, bank transfer and cheque payments in the same ledger. Online money goes to the madrassa's own Stripe account.

Reports you can act on

See outstanding balances, payment status, refunds and collection totals alongside attendance, progress, enrolment, task and parent-engagement reports, with filters and CSV exports.

Common questions

Does Makatib.App take a share of the fees we collect?

No. Makatib.App takes no application fee and never holds the money. Online payments go through the madrassa's own Stripe account; Stripe's own processing charges still apply.

Can we record cash and bank transfers?

Yes. Management can record offline payments such as cash, bank transfer and cheque so each household's balance reflects the full payment history, not only online transactions.

Which online payment methods are available?

Available methods depend on the country and the madrassa's Stripe account. Card payments are supported through Stripe, while Bacs Direct Debit is available only to eligible UK-based madrassas.
